There are bad ideas...
...and then there are worse ideas.
After watching Carmindy from TLC's What Not to Wear lighten a few people's dark eyebrows (mine look like they were painted on with charcoal) with facial bleach, I decided I would try it as well.
So last night I sucked it up and gave it a whirl.
8 minutes later half my eyebrows were orange. The other half is a mixture of completed bleached and charcoal black.
I'm so pretty.

lol! I wouldn't worry; if what not to wear is anything like the english version the presenters look like they got dressed in the dark anyway. I wouldn't take their advice if they suggested dying any other parts of your body orange.

Were you too busy mocking me to learn the brow-dying process all those times? I hope you at least donned the swim goggles for protection!
I have some light-medium brown dye I've used for my eyebrows before if you want to use it. It's one of those wash-out-in-24-washes dyes.

short term solution: use whatever dark eyeliner i have on hand to fill in the orange bits.
long term solution: i have no idea!

Oh no! Well, if it's any consolation, I'm now kinda accidentally blonde. Or at least a heckuva lot less brunette than I intended!
The dark liner pencils sound like a good idea - then maybe go talk to someone at a salon?

I dyed my hair purple by accident once. I misunderstood the box. I thought burgundy was red. On my head - PURPLE!
AND just now, I was settling in to read your blog and I had also opened another blod to read.. I read this on your blog:

no. DEFINITLY not pregnant.
i ran my eyebrows by a few friends at work and they seem passable. thank goodness.
but that shouldn't stop anyone from mocking me.
