lots of friendly pople, lots of booze, and lots of good food.

my favorite eateries are The Salad Factory and Franco's (delicious sandwiches and pizza). oh, there's also a DIARY QUEEN!

as for bars, my favorite is the Rusty Rudder, closely followed by the Bottle 'n' Cork. most people favor the Starboard, but i consider that a daytime place (it gets crowded at night).
